Active Lime Production Line

Introduction

Active lime is made by calcination of minerals with high calcium content such as limestone, dolomite, white lime, etc., which are burned at 1000 to 1100°C. It is widely used in construction, metallurgy, chemical industry, agriculture and other industries. Its production process flow is determined by investment planning, lime activity requirements, fuel selection etc. We can design different production processes for our customers according their requirements.

Active lime production process:

The production process of activated lime mainly has the following four steps.

① Raw material preparation and preheating:
The limestone is crushed into a particle size of 10-50mm, and then screened by a vibrating screen into a particle size that meets the requirements, and then enters the preheater for preheating.
② Limestone calcining :
The limestone calcination process consists of a vertical preheater, a rotary kiln, and a vertical cooler. The limestone decomposes in the preheater and is pushed to the end of the rotary kiln by the hydraulic push rod. After being calcined in the rotary kiln, it enters the cooler for cooling.
③ Finished product transportation:
The cooled finished lime is sent to the finished product warehouse via plate chain conveyor, bucket elevator, and belt conveyor to wait for packaging.
④ Flue gas treatment:
The flue gas generated by the rotary kiln calcining is processed through dust collector and other equipment to make the dust concentration of the gas less than 30 mg/m3.
